After 40+ years of practice I have decided to retire.
In anticipation of my retirement I have joined the law firm of Swaim & Danner, P.C. Don Swaim and Matt Danner are both shareholders with the firm. Don has been practicing Estate Planning, Business Planning, Probate and Trust Administration and Tax law for over 30 years. Matt Danner focuses on the same areas of practice as well as guardian and conservatorships. The firm is a Martindale-Hubbell AV preeminent rated firm. The Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rating is the top rating given by Martindale-Hubbell to attorneys based on a selective peer review process and supports my belief that firm provides the highest level of professional excellence for its clients.
The firm has 4 attorneys who specialize in the same areas of law that I have practiced in for all these years. This bodes well for my clients because the firm not only has experience in all the areas of law that I practiced in, but also has the capacity to serve all my clients with the same level of attention that I have strived to maintain over the years. The office of Swaim & Danner, P.C. is located across the street from my old office. The phone number is 505-237-0064.
Please be advised that you have the right to select any attorney of your choice and do not have to go with Swaim & Danner, P.C. However, I hope that you will decide to have this firm counsel you. All the attorneys are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. As I see it, this is just another way that I can serve you as my clients. Instead of making you go through the trouble of finding a new attorney, I have vetted this firm and believe that they will do a great job serving your needs going forward. This gives me peace of mind as well, knowing that all my clients are in good hands as I retire from practice. If for some reason you want to transfer your file to another firm please advise me within sixty (60) days of the date of this letter and I will close your file and forward it to you.
In an effort to ease the transition process for my clients, Ruby Silva, my long time paralegal, will be working with the new firm. I will be available to the attorneys of Swaim & Danner, P.C. to answer any questions about your file. New Mexico rules governing
attorneys prohibit me from practicing law in New Mexico after I retire so I will not be providing any legal advice.
The best part of my practice has been working with my clients. I have met many wonderful people over the years and have befriended many of you. I want that relationship to continue with the great people that are working at this firm.
I would encourage you to contact Swaim & Danner, P.C. to schedule a complimentary meeting with one of the attorneys. They would be happy to meet you and introduce themselves. If you would like, you can also use the meeting as an opportunity to review your current Estate Planning documents and discuss any questions you may have.
Larry M Reecer,
